We booked 3 X days of tours with this company before we left home as we were keen to find an ethical tour operator. We found every guide and driver to be impeccable, the boat team on the mistral were superb and we could not fault the efforts everyone made to ensure we had a fantastic time, thank you to Rahel for the organising and every one of your team we met along the way. Tours booked: Stone town heritage walk & Swahili cooking class. Jozani forest & Pete explorer Sandbank escape We were taken away from the masses, shown experiences and aspects of the island at times they were quiet, it was perfect and so insightful Thank you

Yusuf with Amos tours was absolutely incredible on our tour of Stone Town. Would 100% recommend taking a tour with him!

I had an incredible experience with Amo Zanzibar Tours & Safaris during my visit to Zanzibar! From start to finish, their professionalism, unique approach, and commitment to sustainability truly set them apart from other tour operators. Our history-filled tour of Stone Town was fascinating. They brought the city’s rich past to life with engaging stories and deep insights. Every corner we explored felt meaningful thanks to their well-researched storytelling. Another highlight of my trip was the sunset dhow ride they organized. The experience was well arranged, I got to enjoy food and drinks while watching the setting golden sun on the waves. A special thank you to Noreen, whose kindness and genuine passion for real, responsible tourism in Zanzibar made all the difference. And a huge thanks to our kind guide Youssuf, whose knowledge, energy, and storytelling made the experience even more enriching. If you're looking for an authentic, well-organized, and sustainable way to experience Zanzibar, I highly recommend them :) A plus: if you are looking for a place to stay they also have a clean, very well-situated and comfortable Airbnb in town.

We visited Zanzibar one month ago and booked our activities with Noreen (Amo Zanzibar Tours). Communication and organization with Noreen was excellent. She went out of her way to accommodate all our needs and adjust the schedule last minute or the same day according to our needs and wishes. She is a very friendly person that does her job with great respect to others and very professionally. If we knew her earlier we would have booked also our Tanzania safari with Noreen (unfortunately he had planned it with a different agency). Noreen thank you very much for everything!

We booked a bicycle spice tour last minute with Amo Zanzibar Tours and Safari. From the outset they were up front with it being a forecast for a hot day and needing a moderate level of fitness for this particular tour. Our guide was professional and approachable. We rode approximately an hour through the city into bike trails through semi challenging conditions, but I should note that my wife and I haven't been properly riding for quite some time. The spice farm was gorgeous. We were led on an insightful tour through the farm, smelling, tasting and enjoying the local produce from cloves and cinnamon to a variety of delicious fruits that were definitely a warm welcome after a sweaty ride. Then we took a short ride to a nice setup overlooking another farm. It was serene and peaceful. There we enjoyed a delicious range of traditional Swahili food made with all the local spices we were privy to trying. Needless to say we are exhausted but content. The owner seemed quite lovely and genuine. A local tour company with a dedicated team to providing a brilliant experience. A hidden gem
