The interior is really cozy (I loved the glass mosaic tiling), although some of the chairs can be a bit cramped, and with four full meals, the table gets full pretty quickly. Maybe a coat hanger or something similar wouldn't be a bad idea, especially with some of the chairs against the wall (where I was lucky enough to sit, and so I couldn't hang my backpack or coat on the back of the chair, or even put it next to me). The food is tasty and pleasantly spicy, the portions are large. I think the cheese naan is brilliant. The lady serving us was really nice.

I love this place, the food is amazing, delicious! Lovely lady. If you ask for no spice (mild) she will arrange it, just ask. And they give large portions! Too bad i live in the netherlands, i would eat here often!;)

Spice and Rice Express, located at 16 Lower Dorset Street, Dublin 1, is renowned for its flavorful biryani offerings. The menu features options like Chicken Biryani (€14.00), Lamb Biryani (€14.95), and Vegetable Biryani (€11.99), each prepared with aromatic basmati rice and authentic spices. Portion sizes are generous, ensuring a satisfying meal. With its combination of quality, quantity, and reasonable pricing, Spice and Rice Express is a top choice for biryani enthusiasts in Dublin.

Canadian here visiting Dublin. Got the beef biryani with a side of nan and loved it. Great spice, great flavour, and great service. Helped by Ali and was pleasantly surprised it’s a family business. Highly recommend.
