Would not recommend. Chaos of boats, chasing after the dolphins not even allowing them to come up for air. People snorkeling in the water, and our guide yelling ‘jump, jump’ for us to get a glimpse of the stressed dolphins. Meanwhile in the water, we were even nervous about being runs over by boats and were constantly looking out - as well as nervous for all the people in the water.
During my time on **Mnemba Island**, I had the incredible opportunity to witness something truly special. While out in the crystal-clear waters, I saw a **dolphin** playing with a **fish** in such a playful and graceful manner. It was a moment of pure connection with nature. The **dolphin** would dart around, gently nudging the **fish**, almost as if they were engaging in a friendly game. Watching this natural display of intelligence and joy reminded me of the wonder of the **ocean** and its amazing creatures. Mnemba Island is a single small island located about 3 km off the northeast coast of Unguja, the largest island of the Zanzibar Archipelago, Tanzania, opposite Muyuni Beach. It is roughly triangular in shape, about 500 metres (1,640 ft) in diameter and about 1.5 kilometres (0.9 mi) in circumference. It is surrounded by an oval reef seven by four kilometres in extent. These reefs have been declared a marine conservation area. Mnemba Island and its reef are sometimes called Mnemba Atoll which is incorrect because an atoll is an island that encircles a lagoon, which is not the case for Mnemba Island.
