Residence permit took 2 hours today to receive from 8:30am. It’s in a different room, for now. They may ask you to come back to pick it up tomorrow (instead of waiting). They had taken in about 70 today by the time I left. Maybe they changed from last week because another guy’s review said they were only doing 20 residence certificates in the morning. Much more than 20 today.

Had a smooth and fast experience at Phuket Immigration for my 30-day visa extension. Very organized and helpful staff. Best to come early (they open at 8:30 AM) and bring all your documents ready: passport, TM.7 form, TM30, copies, photo, and 1,900 THB in cash. If not, there’s a place nearby for copies/photos. Once documents are checked, you get a queue number. Also, some food and drink stalls are there if you get hungry. 🇹🇭👍
Dealing with visas is never fun. Luckily some of the staff members can be helpful and make the process smooth. One gentleman in particular called Philip made it easy and less stressful
An efficient and pleasant experience for Re-entry and 30 day Visa extensions. Come early. The process runs very smoothly if you fill out the form and get your photo in advance. BRING Thai CASH. Be properly attired/covered, otherwise you will not be doing any paperwork that day.
