Free entrance every Thursday from 5-8pm which was really nice!! The museum wasn’t so big but it was nice to walk around! There was a jazz band playing as well!

Great museum. Everything is very comfortable (lockers, wc, cafe). Super Beautiful collection, especially if you like still - life paintings. Good stuff!

January's biting chill often leaves us craving a reason to leave the house, and this museum is the perfect escape. Following its stunning renovation, it has become my favorite retreat. Whether I'm here for a cozy 'Fika' or just some quiet time surrounded by gorgeous art, the atmosphere is always inviting. I've visited it countless times and still haven't seen everything. This is a place that demands time and repeat visits; rushing through the collections makes it impossible to truly appreciate the beauty within.

It's a must see museum when in Stockholm, one can see from anywhere when visiting old town, we can get tickets while entering It's a multi storey building, recommended to start from the 2nd floor to start the last 1400 century artworks, and from that historic era come to modern works and recent advancements in art and paintings It's a big and we can spend 3 to 4 hrs easily to have a good view of the place Ground floor it has a store to buy souvenirs and books and paintings copies It also has small restaurant and a community hall usually busy during summer time

A wonderful museum filled with different types of artwork. There was a room filled with Swedish artwork, another one filled with Swedish furniture through the years, but my favourite ones were the ones with the statues and European paintings. It’s worth going early in the day so you don’t have to right through it like I did.
