I can't remember our boat operators names but we had an excellent trip. The weather was great and it was so beautiful and relaxing. I don't know how it would be if the weather was marginal, but we had a perfect day. The boat is comfortable and very quiet. Our guide couldn't have been nicer, and were very informative. Loved the wine. One hour was the perfect amount of time. We highly recommend this tour.
The boat is super silent so you can enjoy the experience fully. The crew members are very friendly and thoughtful and provide for your needs. The trip is 1 hour going 30 min in one direction and 30 min coming back. You'll get two glasses of wine to enjoy the scenery and the trip. Price/quality this is really a good way to spend time to see the area from the water .
Small silent boat with a knowledgeable guide. It fits 12 people comfortably so no squeezing. Two nice wines to taste. An hour feels short which says something about the comfort of the boat. Would easily enjoy a 2 hour tour. Highly recommended for a view of the quintas from the river.
For a quiet, small group tour I don’t think there is any better company on the river. This was the smallest boat I saw on the water, and the electric motor meant it was easy to hear our guide even while moving. The wine was good and the views were even better.
Wonderful experience! Our guide and driver were very friendly, as was everyone in the boat (only about 9 guests total). The weather couldn’t have been better, we caught a beautiful day in March, and the views were also incredible. The tour includes two wine pours as well, both from the same vineyard and very tasty. Overall great value and a perfect way to experience the heart of the Duoro valley!
