There were eight of us in our tour to Cascais and Sintra, our tour guide Filipa was excellent! Very kind, great driver, super knowledgeable and personable. We toured Pena Castle as well, and it was an awesome experience to do a tour with this company!!
I had the most amazing experience on this tour to Our Lady of Fátima, Nazaré, and Óbidos. Each stop was breathtaking in its own way; from the peace and spirituality of Fátima, to the stunning coastline of Nazaré, and the charming medieval streets of Óbidos. What made the tour truly unforgettable was our guide, Tony. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also warm, engaging, and thoughtful throughout the entire day. We got “stuck” 🥰 with Filipa for three days of touring Sintra, Lisbon, Obidos, and Pena Palace and cannot say enough good things about her. She was personable, extremely knowledgeable about Portuguese history, the places we visited, and was a great storyteller as well. She was able to tie stories together from each place we visited over multiple days, knew the cities and countryside very well, and was able to get us the best views/photos (and pastries!!) without paying extra. Filipa made our vacation a success and our trip would not have been the same without her. Will definitely repeat with Selection Tours (and hopefully Filipa) when we return to Lisbon.
