The walking tour was absolutely amazing! It was full of stories, history, and culture.. it was truly the perfect way to get to know Lisbon. I felt like I learned everything I wanted to know about the city in just a few hours! Our guide, Bruno, was fantastic, knowledgeable, funny and passionate about sharing Lisbon’s charm and Portugal's history. He's a wise little man who shared the quote by Fernando Pessoa, which I wrote down "Pensar é estar doente dos olhos" which translates to "thinking is the disease of the eyes". It's a great reminder to oneself to not let our thoughts take us away from the present moment. I really enjoyed every moment of the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
We loved going this tour. Our tour guide was Francisco and he was charming and knowledgeable. The time flew by while he regaled us with the history of the city he grew up in. Despite Lisbon’s hills, the tour was pretty easy. We have a newfound appreciation and understanding of the place we visited after this tour. Highly recommend doing this tour if you’re visiting!
Joana was a fantastic tour guide. The tour lasted way over the time scheduled, but it was really amazing. She showed us a different side of Lisbon that we would never experience my own and gave us a ton of suggestions to go back to. She has been fantastic knowledge and great insights as to where to avoid as well as all the best places to go
We were so pleasantly surprised with the walking tour of Lisbon with Maria. She was kind, humurous and did a wonderful job creating a relaxing atmosphere for all of us. She helped us to envision the history of Lisbon and was the highlight of our stay in the city. After hearing about Sintra being closed due to risk of fire from the heat wave, Maria provided us several recommendations on alternative places to visit. Telma was an amazing guide. I didn’t expect the amount of enthusiasm and theatrics from our guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon. She had many interesting anecdotes and made the history fun. She even graced us with beautiful renditions of Portuguese songs. At the end, she sent us a curated list of Lisbon recommendations.
