Had a great couple of days with António of South Explorers showing us the impressive west coast beaches, Sagres Fortress, Silves castle, beautiful Monchique and Quinta Do Francês Winery! Definetly a must if you want to see the less touristy side and hidden gems of the Algarve!
Antonio is a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. We did the Wild and Wonderful West Coast tour with him and it was a very enjoyable and memorable day. He shared a lot information about the Algarve region such as the local cuisine, flora and fauna which was quite interesting. Would highly recommend this tour.
António was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and friendly! The tour was very comprehensive - Silves was beautiful, and we had the opportunity to visit an arts & crafts cooperative with lovely hand-made items and food! We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting to finish off the day. The minivan was very handy to drive around and had AC! Would highly recommend!
My husband and I did the Silves, Caldas and Monchique Wine Tasting: Full Day Tour. This was a fabulous activity to learn about some of the history of the Algarve region, explore some unique areas, like the thermal spa in Caldas, appreciate the amazing views on top of the mountain, and end the day enjoying some wonderful wine at a local winery. Antonio is an exceptional guide for this tour. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area, willing to answer all questions, and is super friendly. We even stopped at a site along the way to observe the hundred nesting white storks. It was a truly enjoyable day and I would highly recommend this tour to appreciate more about the Algarve region.
