The organization of this company is extremely poor. The staff is generally unfriendly, with the exception of the boat drivers — most of whom were polite and helpful — except for one particular individual. When he took us to the beach, there were children and elderly people playing in the water on the river side. Instead of slowing down or steering carefully, he forced them to move out of the way of the boat without any consideration. When confronted about it, he responded rudely, raised his voice, and showed no sign of understanding or taking responsibility. From an organizational perspective, we experienced several major issues. We purchased tickets for a boat transfer to the beach and ended up waiting for one and a half hours. Instead of taking us along on boats that were already returning in the same direction to pick up other passengers, they chose to run empty trips — a decision that made no sense from either a customer service or an economic standpoint. Additionally, we bought tickets for a dolphin-watching tour at sea. At first, we were told no tickets were available. Later, we were informed that tickets had become available for Friday, with nine spots free. We purchased them immediately. On Friday, however, we found out that the booking had been made for Thursday instead — despite five witnesses present at the purchase and our phone number being taken “in case we were late.” Nobody contacted us on Thursday, which confirmed our understanding that the booking was indeed for Friday.

Very easy, bought return ticket €2.25 ferry's very regular, nice journey to beach. Beach very nice.

Without pulling any punches this time of year (July). Fuseta is brimful of happy tourists. The beach is small and beautiful the waters warm and great for families. The island is only a hop, skip and a jump away. Nearby the well managed ecovia bike trail runs alongside to Tavira and beyond, through the Formosa wetlands. Fuseta has some great restaurants offering bbq'ed fish. A multitude of sun soaked cafes.

Really disappointing experience with the taxi boat on Fuseta Island. When you buy your tickets, they insist you choose your return time in advance. Even though I had booked for 4:00 PM, the boat didn’t show up at the scheduled time, probably because there were only three of us. We kept calling, and every time they gave us a different answer: wait on the left side of the island, no now go to the right, etc. After 40 minutes of waiting, a boat finally showed up to drop some people off, and we were so frustrated that the guy of the boat(who wasn’t even the one assigned to pick us up) took pity on us and gave us a ride back. Otherwise, I have no idea how long we would have waited. The organization is terrible, and the phone support is a joke: at some point they stopped answering my calls, but when I tried calling from a different number, they picked up right away. Absolutely not recommended! And the craziest part? It’s only June and it’s not even crowded yet, imagine what it’ll be like in August…

The service was excellent. The lady at the ticket office was really friendly and explained everything simply and clearly. The ticket inspector however was quite rude and bossy. In my opinion I do not think that it was really necessary to behave in such an authoritarian way especially for a ferry boat ticket inspector. Not ideal. Apart from that the service was good.
