I booked a hiking tour with this company to the 25 Fontes Levada, and it was a wonderful experience. The route was beautiful, and the views were absolutely stunning. A special thank you to our guide, Tiago, who was incredibly kind and supportive throughout the entire walk. He clearly explained all the challenges and made sure everyone felt comfortable, which I really appreciated, as it was my first hike here in Madeira. Highly recommend this tour if you want to experience the true beauty of Madeira’s nature!

The Nuns valley tour was spectacular. There was a mix up with our hotel collection whereby some other guests got onto our bus and it meant we were left behind. However, Madeira Happy Tours made sure we didn’t miss out and came to collect us later the same day to go on the tour. We couldn’t fault the tour and the efficient resolution from the company following the mix up.
This tour is was great - Bruna was the best guide we could have asked for. Very knowledgeable, passionate and welcoming with a great sense of humour. It really felt like a family for the day! Times at each stop are spot on, lunch in Ribeiro Frio was amazing and we learnt so much about the island from Bruna! Massively recommend any tours with her and this company - definitely worthwhile and had a lot of fun, met some lovely people.
This trip was fantastic!!!!! I loved all the places with unbelievable beauty at each location and throughout the drive. Our guide Joana was lovely, patient and kind, full of great and interesting information. She was a good driver too, felt very safe! It was a truly wonderful excursion, one that will long be remembered.

Our guide was just amazing with a sense of humour, he asked us to call him William, the places we visited on this tour were wow. the guide gave us enough time at each stop to roam around and take pics. i would def recommend it!
On July 19th 2025 we made the West Tour (guide: Hugo) and on July 20th 2024 the East Tour (guide: Luis) with Madeira Happy Tours. As you can see on the pictures you will see breath taking landscapes during the trips that start around 9a.m. and finish by 5p.m. The Tour guides are also the drivers and speak English fluently and many other languages. There is always enough time when bus stops at the places of interest. The groupe size is up to 15 people. The Tour buses have A.C. I can highly recommend you the West and East Tour. You will enjoy an unforgettable experience.😀
We were there for a week and did 2 1/2 tours with them. They found us a great hotel, picked us up and drove us to the airport. Super friendly, accommodating and informative. All their recommendations for things to do and places to eat were fantastic. I would not even bother asking or looking elsewhere when I go next time. We arranged everything easily through them. If there was more than 5 stars I would give them that.
