It was our second time with the XRide crew and it was amazing. We were lucky enough to see some dolphins and get amazing pictures. The crew really takes care of everyone and jokes around to make this experience worthwhile for everyone. I’m sure we will be back 🫶🏽🫶🏽 thank you everyone on board!
Wow we had an amazing time.. doing the usual swim and coastal tour and the Benagil cave. All awesome with fantastic boat trip, commentary and photo opportunities. If that was not enough we then dashed to a spot of reported orca sightings. We saw 2. Such a wonderful experience. Thank you so much Dominic, Raoul & the rest of the crew. Amazing
Booked this trip the day before and collected tickets on the day - 12.30 sailing for a 2.5 hour trip - £35 pp. I would thoroughly recommend the experience in terms of value for money. Set off to search for dolphins and were very lucky to find a small pod of bottle nose dolphins, including a mother and calf. The coastline and caves afterwards were stunning. There was an opportunity to take a quick dip at one point if you wanted to as well. The Benagil cave was impressive and the boat went into very shallow water to enable the best photographic opportunity before returning to the marina. I want to give a massive shout out to Raul, Yaron and Hugu for their knowledge, information and hilarious commentary which really added to the relaxed vibe. They were a masterclass in customer service and made the trip so enjoyable!!
Absolutely loved our trip. It was much cheaper booking this way than through Jet2. We arrived at the port to a lovely welcome and had time for a quick coffee before joining the queue. The guides were lovely! Really friendly, funny, helpful and knowledgeable. The boat was comfortable with seats and able to stand too. Everyone was well looked after. We saw dolphins really quickly and they turned the boat so everyone could see. The caves were magical! We were able to go right into some of them. Plenty of photo ops and lots of information given along the way. All passengers chose to skip to the swimming part but we were given the option. Overall we would highly recommend this trip!!
Best day of my holiday!! I'm from the Netherlands and traveling by myself for the first time, so I went by myself to the Xride as well, but Raoul didn't let me feel like I was alone which I'm so thankful for! The whole crew was so nice!! We were so lucky to see the dolphins and I'm so happy that they treat them with respect and leave them in peace. We also had time to swim and that experience was also very unique and incredible!! Tips for new ppl: - You have lockers over there, to put away your bags - bring a sweater, cause after swimming it might get cold - You ALWAYS have to check in, the check in is at the back of the square(I've put a picture in the review). Even if you got a paper from the hotel. After that, you have to go to the orange flag, with your card. - If you're doubting to go by yourself: DO IT!!! You won't regret it, it's absolutely amazing and the crew is absolutely kind and caring. To the team: Thank you again for this trip, I'll never forget this trip, you all made it amazing!! 10/10
It was an incredible experience! The caves are absolutely breathtaking, and seeing dolphins was such a lovely bonus. The staff was amazing: very attentive and provided great explanations throughout the trip. We were especially impressed by Yaroslavl, who was super friendly and polite! Everyone on the team did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this experience, it’s worth every cent!
crew were very attentive and thoughtful to my 10 year old Autistic grandson, checking in with him often 😀 one even gave him their jacket saying it could get windy and wet. this was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. the trip itself was fab, saw lots of dolphins, and the caves were amazing, crew were knowledgeable and witty. great day had by all
We had an excellent time with Xride , we got there for the first ride which was 9:30 am and was lucky to see many dolphins. The caves were amazing too. Very picturesque! The staff on board were great and very informative. Overall great experience, would highly recommend.
This experience was absolutely amazing. From start to finish the crew were fantastic and funny, they made sure you were always comfortable and safe, and the narrative was great. We gave five stars for each section because it was so well organised. Bravo, when we come back to Portugal we definitely put this trip at the top of our bucket list of things to do again. Amazing tour guides! Educational, amusing and made personal contact with all guests/one was in our city for school & kayaking! So cool! Great time of day with lighting/sunset, warm still and we did spot the dolphins! The crew kept us there to enjoy the entertainment of these beautiful creatures without pushing on to end the cruise! The crew made it even more special !
