Anna was a wonderful guide - showing us interesting sites, giving us an excellent introduction to Auckland and New Zealand. The chocolate recommendation alone made it worth it. Highly recommended

We were met by our tour guide, Anna, in the lobby of the hotel. We are a family of 4 and had a short time in the city of Auckland and wanted to make sure we saw the highlights and learned about the history, culture, food, etc. We immediately hit it off with Anna. She is so personable and relatable! After we headed out — Anna had a great tempo for our tour, leaving time for questions and exploration. Our tour was booked as a 3-hour private sightseeing walk. She shared the historical sights of the harbor, the key stories and historical activities that have shaped Auckland to be what it is today, and what we all appreciated the most were the things she pointed out to see that we never would have noticed ourselves while out exploring. There was a planned stop at two of the favorite local spots to sample coffee and chocolates which gave a nice rest break and time for reflection and discussion at what we had already seen and what we were about to see. The tour was a mix of the harbor, the town, history, culture— it was not strenuous yet still a good pace and very enjoyable. Highly recommend!!

The guide’s name was Liz and she did an amazing job to bring us around the hidden alleys and the hype cafes of Auckland. She did the three hour tour at a very very manageable pace and we were given very detailed information about the local food, buildings and what we can look out for. I thoroughly enjoyed the company and the laughter. Awesome experience, will continue to support this female-founded business.

Last week I met Liz and experienced the Hello Auckland walking tour. Liz was incredibly passionate and bubbly. She gave a Māori welcome and began by describing what Auckland looked like in the early years. She spoke a lot about culture and history, but also the best places to drink, eat, party and relax. I was guided around new and old parts of town and was explained sculptures and new & upcoming developments. I learnt so much about Auckland and hit up some of her food recommendations over the following days and they were all divine. I gained a lot of local insights and would definitely recommend to first-time visitors or those looking to learn more about Auckland🕺🏼

Liz is PHENOMENAL! She is an Auckland native and really showed us things we would have never noticed about the city, that even locals don’t know about. She was personable, knowledgeable, and really set us up for a phenomenal trip! Her recommendations will fill all of our time here. Her knowledge around the history of Auckland and how the community operates now was an invaluable insight! She also took us to enjoy some treats, taught us some Maori, and welcomed us to NZ! 10/10! So grateful we did this!
