We booked a private all day tour of the island for my husband and I. We were picked up by Sherwin in a very nice SUV and was blown away by our tour. Sherwin asked our interests and made some on the spot decisions that gave us an amazing day. We saw the flamingos, turtles, cliff diving, ate the best empanadas, saw a water spout, great scenic vistas and a walking tour of Willemstad. Sherwin provided a lively narration and a locals perspective that really added to our tour. Thank you for making great memories for us!
We had so much fun with Joseph! He loves his beautiful country and it really shines through with all of the fun and interesting facts provided. The day trip packed a lot of variety into a short time and it passed by so quickly, that we will definitely have to come back and experience more of what Curaçao has to offer! Our favorite part was Playa Kenepa Chiki. What a magical spot! And who could forget the stop for local fare -- goat stew -- on our way to the beach, a delicious afternoon snack. Thank you, Joey for the amazing tour. It was truly the best time (and money) we spent on our entire 8 day trip!
Jessica was so nice and very knowledgeable about the island and truly helped us have an amazing day. She was great about squeezing in a last minute stop and still made sure we were back to our ship with plenty of time to spare. We will definitely book with Gone Caribe on our next trip to Curacao.
Oh my gosh, where do I even start?! We booked a custom, private all-day tour with Gone Caribe for 5 adults between 27 and 30 yrs old for when we were visiting on a cruise ship. Joey was our tour guide and he was an absolute blast. By the end of the day we all felt that he was more of a friend than a guide--we had so much fun joking around and laughing with him while also learning so much about Curacao. Our group asked a lot of questions and Joey didn't once say "I don't know"--the man is filled with knowledge. Oh, and he speaks 4 different languages!! We explored the Hato Caves, went to the blow hole at Shete Boka National Park, went snorkeling with wild sea turtles at Playa Piskado, ate lunch at Playa Forti (incredible view & delicious local food), swam & relaxed at Playa Kenapa Grandi, and finished the day with photo ops at Kokomo Beach (yes, specifically because of The Beach Boys song lol). Entrance fees for all stops were covered. The only thing we had to pay for was our lunch, which makes sense! I also appreciated how clean his vehicle was, it was spotless inside & out. He also had ice cold bottles of water packed in a cooler for us, as well as snorkeling equipment. Joey and Gone Caribe provided us with a perfect day in Curacao and a lifetime of memories. If you are on the fence about booking with Gone them, do yourself a favor and just book the tour :)
