Paap’s tour is canals, comedy, and history all perfectly stirred. Every bridge feels like a punchline. Easily the best way to see Amsterdam— and maybe the only time you’ll wish the boat went slower. 10/10 solid dude.

We have had the greatest SAIL 2025 tour we could ever imagine. Paapings navigational skills and major knowledge on the (historical) facts of many impressive tall ships was very interesting. The timing with the firework show was very impressive as it was extremely busy, but we were still on schedule. I would 200 % recommend a great tour when ever you visiti in Amsterdam. It would make your trip to Amsterdam a great experience.

Paap took us on an amazing 90 minute cruise and tour today. He was willing to pick us up at Leidesplein and even drop us off at the Rijksmuseum afterward. It was a wonderful time and conversation with us the whole trip. Felt more like going on a boat ride with a friend than hiring a tour from a stranger. We really enjoyed that personal connection. Recommend to anyone booking a tour for 6 people or so. It was amazing.

Really worth your money. I booked this tour via TripAdvisor and the boat and her captain were ready to welcome me aboard. It’s truly the best way to see hidden gems and corners of this beautiful city, right after renting a bike and roaming through the canals. I love this city for its vibrant and sparkling atmosphere, for its informality, for the freedom to be whomever and whatever you are. Very friendly folks ❤️

Fantastic canal tour that I 100% recommend to book when traveling to Amsterdam with your friends and family. Unlike other touristy canal cruises that you see around the city, what we really love the most about this tour was that you had a private boat away from the crowds, and you can really take in the cityscape at your own pace. We all thought that the hour of tour flew by so quickly when everything around you was so beautiful. I love that Paap cruised us around many beautiful canals and he was so knowledgeable to share as many local history and fun facts of the city. This canal cruise is super comfy & perfect for small groups coming to Amsterdam around 4-6 people, and comes with free drinks! We did our tour around noon, but I imagine during summer time even late night sunset tours would also be super amazing to experience too!
