Amsterdam Lights Festival Transforms Canals into Floating Art Gallery

Amsterdam is preparing to welcome visitors to one of Europe’s most celebrated winter spectacles as the Amsterdam Light Festival returns from 27 November to 18 January 2026. During this period, the city’s historic canals are reimagined as an illuminated outdoor gallery, showcasing large-scale light installations created by international artists.
