Las Coloradas and Río Lagartos Tour Showcases Pink Lakes, Wildlife, and Mangrove Ecosystems

A guided excursion through Las Coloradas and Río Lagartos offers a striking combination of natural color landscapes and protected ecological habitats in the northern Yucatán Peninsula. The journey begins at Las Coloradas, an area known for its vividly pink salt lagoons created by high salinity levels and natural microorganisms that influence the water’s unique coloration.

Visitors can observe active salt production processes while exploring designated paths around the lagoons.
