What a wonderful place. It proves that nature is a best artist and the best architect. Once you come down through the "nature way" you should take the boat ride to the falls, especially on a hot day. The temperature at the fall itself is several degrees lower. You can se rainbow in the mist too. After the visit to the falls you will climb back to the area with monkeys. Once you pay the fee (although I am not sure if our guide was not cheating, it seems that nobody else paid any fees) you will be handed a handful of peanuts to feed the monkeys. As a "reward" monkey may sit on your head or shoulder. However, I think all those monkeys have daily constipation form the amount of consumed peanuts.

We visited with a local guide who was amazing and showed us alternative routes which was great. Multiple view points. The boat to go closer to the waterfall is 20 dirham per person, we got straight on a boat. There are lots of local young children trying to sell “food” for the monkeys, we were warned by our guide about this and advised against it, our guide shared with us that local children has stopped attending school as they can make “easy” money from tourists and will education not being compulsory it is becoming a big problem. We were firm with the children and they left us alone. Beautiful walk around the waterfall, it was a little busy in places. We had food at one of the cafe which was great, drinks were reasonably priced too.

A very beautiful waterfall! We visited at the end of October — the water level wasn’t very high, but it was still absolutely stunning. If you’re up for a long walk, I recommend going right after the entrance and taking the forest trail down — it feels like a little hike. You’ll reach the base of the waterfall, and from there, you can climb back up to the top where your car is parked. If you prefer a shorter route and just want to enjoy the view, go left from the entrance and follow the stairs along the shops. You’ll reach a café where you can grab a juice and watch the waterfall from above. You can also walk down to the very bottom to take some amazing photos right by the water. It’s a truly beautiful and mesmerizing place. Thanks for watching!

Really nice trip. Nice activity levels. Not too strenuous but sensible footwear required. Our guide was great and the food was amazing. Views and boat ride were stunning

"A Magical Day at the Ouzoud Waterfalls" Our day trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the scenery took our breath away — towering cascades, lush greenery, and rainbows forming in the mist. The walk down offered stunning views from every angle, and spotting the playful Barbary macaques along the way was such a treat. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating facts about the local culture, history, and wildlife. We had plenty of time to relax, take photos, and even enjoy a refreshing boat ride close to the falls (prepare to get a little wet — totally worth it!). Lunch at a charming riverside restaurant was delicious, with fresh Moroccan dishes and the soothing sound of rushing water in the background. If you’re visiting Morocco, this trip is a must — it’s the perfect combination of natural beauty, light adventure, and authentic local flavor. We will cherish the memories and photos from this day for a long time!
