What a great visit to one of the largest mosques in the world. A must visit place while in Casablanca. Hassan II Mosque is considered as one of the main highlights in Morocco. Built in 1993 with highly technical style. Very tall minaret. The capacity is 105,000 prayers but can exceed during any religious event like the holy month of Ramadan and Eid’s. In ground floor, the ablution area which has 41 fountains where 10 people can do ablution at the same time in every fountain. Our licensed guide Nasira gave us a great explanation about the history of this place.

Incredible and magnificent construction, certainly a must go in the city. The ticket is very good priced (140 full price & 70 Dirham reduced) and they have tours in many languages. It was special to hear about the history and purpose of a place for one people, the humans being, without differences. Super recommend on going and paying attention to the history and magnitude.

It is without a degree of exaggeration, this mosque reflect the genius and greatness of Islamic (Moorish) architecture. It is undoubtedly one of the world’s greatest wonders. It is so beautifully constructed and overwhelmingly inspiring building. I have visited great places around the world and I will not hesitate to say it tops them all! Entrance is free.

An architectural masterpiece by the ocean. The Hassan II Mosque is absolutely breathtaking the sound of the waves mixes with the call to prayer, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. The craftsmanship inside is extraordinary, with intricate mosaics, marble, and carved cedarwood everywhere you look. Standing beneath the 210-metre minaret felt truly humbling. It’s one of the few mosques in the world open to non Muslim visitors, and the guided tour was well organised and insightful. A must-see landmark that defines the beauty and soul of Casablanca.

Truly beautiful and awe-inspiring building. I love that the guided tours are included because it sets a good pace and gives context to everything you see. The artwork and architectural details are enough to leave you with your mouth open; not to mention the scale of it all. Very well worth a visit if you’re in Casablanca.
