We’ve truly had the best holiday of our lives in Sri Lanka thanks to these guys. We’ve spent the first six days of our visit with travelling around the island. Our private driver, Nishan was the most helpful, thoughtful and knowledgable tour guide, helping us to do that in comfort and with ease. He’s an excellent driver, the car was always super clean and just the right temperature. He helped us choosing the best restaurants, the most reliable local suppliers, and fill our itinerary with local activities which we wouldn’t even know if it wasn’t for him. His English is perfect, he told us many interesting stories of the history of the island on the go. He was there for us to solve any issues effectively and was not mad with us even if we overslept and missed our starting time (sorry again!) 10/10 customer service from all perpectives, we can only hope we meet again!
I contacted Rukee from a recommendation from my cousin who had an amazing experience with him. The trip exceeded all expectations for me and my partner on our honeymoon. It was my goal to see the best of Sri Lanka without wanting to move away from our hotel and Rukee helped me create some customised and compacted (3 day tours to 1) day trips to suit our interests based on research and he suggested additional great places. This was particularly evident in exploring the Hindu temples related to Lord Hanuman which was very special to my partner. With the trip being a surprise for my partner, I needed to confirm these elements last minute. Rukee was ever available, kind and flexible throughout the whole process. Rukee always brought us best value for our money and was very reasonable. With Rukee abroad at the time, he organised everything for us via our driver Nishanka. Nishanka was ever jolly, and super kind. He even brought us treats when we arrived at the airport and also street food when he should have not. He was always on time, reliable and made us feel safe. His genuine passion to want us to have a good time was ever present. Adapting based on the hot climate and our needs, interests. He knew what we valued, and we were so grateful that he was willing to stay late and suggest new experiences to us, compromising his own journey times. On our main traveling days Nissanka spent at least 20 hours with us and brought us safely back to our hotel. In 4 days we snorkelled (met turtles), safari’d with elephants and various wildlife, hiked up some stunning hills, visited ancient sites, temples (of historical significance). In the boat safari we held baby crocs, saw beautiful trees. Stopped at beautiful waterfalls, tea plantations, bridges. Ending with a soothing aryuvedic massage (and much more). It was safe to say that we had a complete and varied experience. As vegetarians on the road and limited options, Nishanka helped to ensure we had some decent quality food on our journey also. For me and my partner, on a personal level this trip was probably our best yet, it marked an amazing start to our married life and was largely due to Rukee and Nissanka. We will be recommending to everyone that they visit beautiful Sri lanka and in particular to use their services. Please use them, you will not regret it. We rarely experience such incredible level of service and can’t wait to come back to Sri Lanka and travel with them once again!
On our trip to Sri Lanka we consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have had Rukee as our tour guide. He is an outstanding operator and speaks perfect English. He is extremely professional, honest and reliable and had our best interests at the centre of everything he did. We had a wonderfull 7 day tour with Rukmal! I've got him recommended by my niece who's been here last year. Contacted him, and made our travel plan and everything went according to this, but you can change any time, he's up to the task! He's not only a calm, safe driver but a very good tour guide, guardian and a very kind person with a good sense of humor! He took real good care of us, you could see, that he allways had an eye on us, whenever we came back from a tour, we just looked up, and ther he was! He arranged real good progams for us, took us to good restaurants, we took a lot of kilometers on all kind of roads (allways safe),we had so many good experiences, I can’t even count! We had a amazing time with Rukee as our Guide. We never felt like he was our Guide in the first place. It was more like we travelled with a friend whom we knew from Sri Lanka. It was one amazing experience. He was punctual,approachable, friendly,clean( his car was always very clean),managed time and travel so well that we covered all the places we had planned to visit. During unforeseen circumstance he also helped us find a good hotel room that was very convenient to commute to the place we wanted to visit the next day. It was a great experience over all.
