Such a unique and memorable experience. Every corner of the castle is filled with fascinating history, handmade details, and incredible stories. You can really feel the passion and vision behind it. It’s more than just a museum, it’s a piece of Lebanese heritage that’s truly one of a kind. Highly recommended for anyone who loves culture, history, and storytelling!

🟫 Musa Castle – Simple Summary: Musa Castle is a special place between Deir El Qamar and Beiteddine in Lebanon. It was built by one man, Moussa Al Maamari, over 60 years with his own hands. He started building it after being laughed at as a child for dreaming big. What you’ll see: • Wax figures showing traditional Lebanese village life. • A large collection of old weapons (over 20,000 pieces). • Handmade stone walls and rooms with personal touches. • A room telling the story of Moussa’s life and dream. Why visit: It’s not just a castle — it’s a story of hard work, patience, and turning a dream into reality. Great for anyone who loves culture, history, or inspiring life stories.

Built almost entirely by one man, the castle is the result of over 60 years of dedication, vision, and perseverance. As a young boy mocked for his dream of building a castle, Moussa set out to prove the doubters wrong. Stone by stone, he constructed his masterpiece using traditional methods and incredible attention to detail. Inside, the museum showcases a wide range of Lebanese heritage, with life-sized wax figures dressed in traditional attire, reenacting scenes of daily village life from the past. From craftsmen at work to family gatherings and rural traditions, every display offers a vivid glimpse into Lebanon's cultural history. A must see if you’re in the area!!

Very nice castle, full of interesting statues relating the daily life of the past century, and an impressive weapons collection as well. Amazing how a single man could build this with his bare hands !

Nothing special to see inside, Worth visiting just 1 time just for curiosity. Old guns, statues, needs cleaning a-lot of trash, the clerk is a liar, deceived us just so we can pay and enter, talked trash about Beiteddine just to compare between the Moussa castle as if it is better.
