Taking a sushi-making class in Osaka turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my visit. The class was fun, hands-on, and surprisingly beginner-friendly. From the moment we arrived, the instructor created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, explaining the history of sushi and the importance of each ingredient. We learned how to prepare the rice properly (much harder than it looks!), slice fish safely, and shape both nigiri and rolls. The instructor demonstrated every step clearly, then let us try it ourselves while giving gentle corrections so we could actually improve. I really appreciated how patient and enthusiastic they were. The best part was sitting down afterward to enjoy everything we made. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and even as a first-timer, my sushi tasted great. The class also included tips on where to shop for ingredients in Japan and how to recreate everything at home. Whether you're a foodie, a cooking enthusiast, or just looking for a unique cultural experience in Osaka, I highly recommend taking a sushi-making class. It’s the perfect mix of learning, culture, and delicious food.

My partner and I took this class on our day trip to Osaka and it was so much fun! The staff were very welcoming and helpful and made the whole experience really enjoyable. They don't just show you how to make sushi, they also explain the history behind sushi making which I found very fascinating. I can't wait to go home and practice my sushi making skills! Would definitely recommend taking a class here if you're stopping by Osaka! :)

The best part of our visit to japan was our sushi making class Yuri and serin. Very fun, extremely knowledgeable and the best part eatting what we now know how to make. The absolute best time and phenomenal experience. Thank you all for showing my kids how to make 🍣

They spoke excellent English and explained the history of sushi in such an interesting way. The class was fun, hands-on, and the sushi we made was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this experience.
