Honestly it’s a huge park to walk around and see stuff, but the places to see here are so spread out that they could actually add more attraction spots inside the park area. I think the best part of the park would be howl’s moving castle, but the tickets were sold out and we couldn’t see it unfortunately so best to book it in advance, just like all the other interesting parts of the park. Other than the plenty of spots to take photos, i still think the park has so much potential that it is missing. So much empty space, it’s quite plain for what it is. But i guess there is some spots that are free to see which is what i give the 4 stars, but most of it is just a money grabber by the looks of it. I think watching a bunch of drunks in the early hours of the morning in tokyo was a bit more interesting! But regardless, still good to take the family and kids. I just wouldn’t go again that’s all.. i think the best part for us was we got to experience the snow at the end of the day before we headed back to our place we were staying at on the other side of the city. If you do plan on coming here, maybe spend the money to see everything to make it worth your time 🙂

Great place if you are a really really fan of Ghibli movies 💓 many souvenirs you wanna get in the souvenir store. The Howl castle so beautiful inside you really feel are into the movie, Kiki’s rooms is the same as well! We arrived at 8:30 am and we went to in the line until 10 am. After the gate open, we moved to witch coven 13 and we wait 30 minutes until they open(10:30). You can fine good souvenir. I bought Calcifer pouch that’s so cute🔥❤️ When we visited there again afternoon some park exclusive merchandise were sold out.

We visited Ghibli Park on the second week of December. It’s quite easy to get there from downtown Nagoya. We use subway and at the last station transfer to monorail direct to Ghibli Park. The park itself is huge and amazing. We started from Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse (single entry) at 10.00 am. After 1 hour continue to Mononoke Village and Valley of Witches. Very satisfying moment. Oya, we couldn’t find any halal food in the restaurant. But overall we love Ghibli Park. You can watch special Ghibli movie in the theater. But the first thing to do before visit Ghibli Park, you need to buy tickets 2 months in advance.

Just want to share my experience purchasing Park Ticket from Lawson / Klook. Upon seeing there are >5000 pax in front of me using Lawson website...I went to klook and within 15 sec premium tix are gone for a date I want in December. Note that i was already waiting 30min before 2pm Japan time but didnt click Lawson button to queue. So I bought standard pass tix from klook. After 1 hr I was finally allow into Lawson website and surprisingly.... despite >5k pple infront of me...I can purchase premium pass tix which grant me access to 5 sites. Conclusion: - Get from Lawson even though u might need to wait longer - Start queuing earlier if possible - Lawson website needs japan address, passport info, credit card (visa/mastercard)...prepare in advance Base on just one experience...so pls note that there is no guarantee urs will be same as mine but as a reference point for you...Good luck! ;) P/S: After going to Ghibli Park, I don't really need the premium tix... unless u are a die hard fan. Warehouse and Valley of the witches are my fav. Its the shopping for merchandise i enjoy... Some exclusive house tix can be bought onsite, so standard tix is good enuf for me. Haa...enjoy the park!

Amazing park, 10/10. 🥹 The park is so beautiful and wonderfully made. We had the standard pass, but was able to buy same-day tickets to see Howl's castle, Okino residence and The house of Witches from a stand/wagon inside the park. I recommend securing these tickets early on, as they sell out during the day. It's totally worth seeing as the attention to detail in all of the houses are incredible. Really made me feel like home, as these movies has been close to my heart for so many years. Everyone from the staff was so lovely, kind and warm. You definitely want to get to the park at opening time, as the park is big and time flies by so fast!
