We had an amazing time at the Kyoto Insider Sake Experience! Our guide Shogo was so funny, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. The presentation was easy to follow and helped us truly understand sake, from how it’s made to how to read the labels. We each got our own bottle to explore, tried a wide variety of nihonshu, and even paired them with food to see how flavors changed. The small group made it personal and fun. It was one of the highlights of our Japan trip highly recommend!

It was awesome experience at all in Kyoto. He just have a lot of knowledge about sake(nihonshu) and all of them there so nice and kind also friendly. It's really meaningful to visit there and taste various types of liquor even such good classes. I would get into 'advanced experience' next time ! Also u can get good sake with reasonable price there right away.

Absolutely fantastic! A worthwhile experience that connects you into the world of sake (Nihon shu) and it's role within Japanese culture. It was a highlight of our Japan trip and really helped us know what to look for in restaurants. You're in for a real treat as you learn from a true local about the art of making Sake while drinking with new friends. 😁

Mayo-San and Shogo-San made this a great experience. If you’re interested in Sake or simply learning and tasting it’s a great experience. I did the longer 3 hour version but it flies by and was so a blast. Highly recommend it!

We had a lovely afternoon at the distillery tour and sake tasting with our guide Miyuki. She has a great knowledge of the processes and history around sake making, and did a great job of explaining the nuances to us. After the tour we had two tastings and got to put into practice the understanding we'd just gained of the different styles of sake. I had a great afternoon, it's something I'll remember and I recommend!
