The square’s rich atmosphere and bustling market perfectly capture the spirit of Verona’s daily life.
Continue your exploration to the graceful Piazza dei Signori, where centuries of history unfold through its diverse architecture, from Roman and Gothic to Renaissance masterpieces. Free Verona’s Tour Company was a highlight of our short trip to Verona! Lucia, our guide, was passionate, funny, and did such a wonderful job describing each stop so well. We saw all the best sites, plus hidden things we never would have found on our own. Lucia gave us suggestions of places to check out after the tour and restaurants she recommended throughout the city. It was the perfect way to learn about Verona quickly and in such an enjoyable way. Highly recommended.

My parents and I took this tour yesterday morning and loved it! Francesca’s knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for Verona is infectious!! We have taken these free walking tours all over the world and Francesca’s was extra special. Many thanks!!

Highly recommend this. The tour lasts 2 hours and there’s no obligation to pay but donations are gratefully received. Very informative and you’ll visit places you wouldn’t normally see by just following a map. You must register the day before as she has a list of names (she may accommodate registration on the spot but I’m not sure)

We had a great experience with the walking tour led by Francesca who was born in Verona. She was very clear in speaking and I felt the pace of walking was just right. This was a good way to get an overview of Verona’s history and key sights. She also gave a fantastic recommendation for an authentic Veronese restaurant at a really cheap price. Highly recommend 🙌

Amazing and informative tour of the city! Francesca is a wonderfully knowledgeable, thoughtful, and entertaining tour guide! She was kind of enough to let me jump on the tour 15 minutes after they started, and caught me up on the things I missed right away. She truly cares about the city, it's rich history, and sharing her vast knowledge with international tourists and Italian locals alike! If you are visiting Verona, I highly recommend her walking tour, where you can enrich your visit and ingratiate yourself into the beautiful, historical, and romantic city that is Verona!
