Free Verona’s Tour Company was a highlight of our short trip to Verona! Lucia, our guide, was passionate, funny, and did such a wonderful job describing each stop so well. We saw all the best sites, plus hidden things we never would have found on our own. Lucia gave us suggestions of places to check out after the tour and restaurants she recommended throughout the city. It was the perfect way to learn about Verona quickly and in such an enjoyable way. Highly recommend this. The tour lasts 2 hours and there’s no obligation to pay but donations are gratefully received. Very informative and you’ll visit places you wouldn’t normally see by just following a map. You must register the day before as she has a list of names (she may accommodate registration on the spot but I’m not sure)
We had a great experience with the walking tour led by Francesca who was born in Verona. She was very clear in speaking and I felt the pace of walking was just right.
