Embark on a culinary journey through Venice with this immersive food tour, starting with a classic Italian Aperitivo. Choose between the iconic Venetian Spritz or a glass of Prosecco at a charming venue just steps from San Marco, tucked away from the tourist crowds.
The tour continues with a tasting of traditional Venetian cicchetti at local bacari, where bold and flavorful combinations such as codfish or liver pâté are perfectly paired with a fine glass of wine. Next, discover the beloved Tramezzino — a soft white sandwich versatile enough to carry any filling — a true local favorite.
Continue to one of Venice’s oldest restaurants, a historic spot cherished by gondoliers since the 16th century, and savor fresh pasta paired with exquisite local wine. Conclude this culinary experience on a sweet note with artisan Italian gelato, creamy and rich, leaving you with a perfect taste of Venice’s authentic flavors.

Gianmarco was not only a wonderful food guide, but a great tour guide as well! He told us numerous interesting stories about the history of Venice. Started out with possibly the best pizza we’ve ever had. Very unique and delicious. 5 star experience!

This food tour was great from the moment we started. CECILIA was our guide & we quickly recognized it was going to be a great experience. Her love for Venice runs to her soul! She explained how the tour would work and quickly made individual connections with everyone to personally connect. We all fell in love with her passion, knowledge & great personality. The food was excellent, she promised we would be well fed (was an understatement) and actually had choices about what we could have. Everything was fabulous & delicious! Highly recommend her and Eating Europe Food Tours!!! (Pics are a “sampling” as 2 Stops we ate & drank & forgot to snap photos ‘cuz we were having so much fun!)

The food tour of Venice with our guide “Anna” was is an amazing experience! We moved away from the bustling Rialto Markets , and San Marco to a quieter and more serene area of “cannaregio” to cozy restaurants serving a variety of food, including cicchetti every stop felt like a celebration of flavor and tradition. Fresh seafood, creamy risottos, and perfectly paired wines. Walking through hidden alleys and canals while tasting local specialties made the tour both delicious and magical. Thank you, Anna (and your beautiful tattoo)
