It was our first time in Venice, so seeing it by night with our guide Valerio, who was very knowledgeable, was a lovely experience. However, I did not feel it did add anything to the "hidden gems" part that one would not discover if one would wander and "got lost" without a guide. The history of Venice, Valerio shared with us was interesting, but the tour is very over priced!!

Lucrezia was absolutely wonderful and her tour was the absolute highlight of our time in Venice! Lu had amazing knowledge of Venice and we learnt so many fun and unique things about this beautiful city that would have otherwise been overlooked if we had not booked this tour. On top of that the food recommendations that Lu shared with us were amazing and added to the wonderful experience we had here. Lucrezia was amazing!! She was extremely communicative before and during the tour providing us with fun facts about Venice, it's people and the culture. She was extremely flexible and customized our tour as we had already been to the major tourist attractions. Her stories about Venice were fascinating - she took us to places that we wouldn't have seen on our own. Walking around Venice with Lucrezia was one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend hiring Lucrezia for one of her private tours.
We were lucky to be the only participants on the evening tour with Valerio and to experience an individual tour away from the classic tourist destinations. Valerio is a super friendly tour guide who made the tour really entertaining with lots of interesting and new info about Venice He also paid special attention to the interests of our 10-year-old son. Lu was outstanding from the first email to scheduling, her being flexible with our time and meeting place, and then we cannot say enough amazing things about her tour! She was engaging, funny, educational (but without being boring at ALL). She kept the attention of our teenagers and adults alike. My two adult children and I had a fantastic time on this tour with Lucrezia!! She was so friendly and informative, taking us to great places that weren’t loaded with tourists. She interacted with us throughout the whole tour and the three hours flew by. We learned interesting facts about the city and it was a great way to kick off our 3-night stay in Venice. My daughter and I had been in Italy for almost 3 weeks and she said that this tour was hands down her favorite. I highly recommend Lucrezia. Thank you again for the wonderful memories!!
Lucretia (the owner) was fantastic! Truly. This tour took us to places that you wouldn’t even know were places and scenic vantage points that you’d never knew existed unless you lived in Venice. But what really shined was how personable and engaging she was. 100% English fluent, patient and a great sense of humor, she dived deep into the history and significance of everywhere we visited adding much more color to this vibrant city. You will feel like you’re being guided by an old friend and that’s the highest praise of all.
