Michele was an amazing tour guide! He shared detailed history but also brought it to life with humor! We had so much fun. Pompeii was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend Michele and Iamme Ia!
Amazing experience at this place! Everyone was so helpful in planning the excursions, especially Miriam who had all the time to explain minute details. Even the guides were amazing, especially Mario who has a pleasant sense of humour!! Would definitely go again to them and highly recommend this team. Perhaps the only thing to improve is guide Nelo, who was full of himself and at times rude!!
Such a wonderful experience with our guide Robby (Roberto) and driver Giovanni! Robby did an amazing job explaining the history and highlights on both the drive and in each town. He was excellent with explaining the best places to visit, both historic and stores. He made sure the group knew exactly what was happening and what to expect each step of the way. He also arranged for a large group reservation in a local restaurant so we could be seated and eat right away. I think he may secretly be the mayor of the Amalfi coast, because he knows everyone! Oh, and he’s also so funny. Giovanni is an excellent driver!! Thank you both for the wonderful day! So sorry about the butcher!
Great trip with just the right amount of time in each location. The guide on the bus was great, as was our local guide in Pompeii. Added bonuses of unexpected visits to the cameo factory and a lemoncello shop. The only downside was that the instructions explicitly state lunch is not provided and to bring a packed lunch, but there was actually a stop at a local restaurant so we missed that because we had our own lunch.
The Pompei/Vesuvius trip was well worth the time and money. The sites at Pompeii were amazing and our local guide provided great insight. The climb up the mountain was a little more difficult than we expected, but the views made it worth the trip! Our tour guide, Danny, was a great host throughout the day and made everything more interesting. I’d definitely recommend this trip!
We took a full day tour to Positano, Amalfi Coast, and Ravello from Sorrento with our excellent tour guide Mimi and our driver Alfredo. We had an absolute great time and the day was from about to 9a-5p but we would’ve kept going if allowed to. Mimi did not disappoint! He was funny, charismatic, and gave us so much knowledge of every location. Mimi also recommended the best places while on each location and none of it were tourist traps. We took the trip with our teenage kids and they had a blast too! Mimi was an awesome guide and kudos to the driver, Alfredo, for keeping us safe on the tight roads up and down the mountains. We will book again when we come back soon!
We have been on a Pompeii/vesuvius trip before and felt it was alot better than this one. When we got there there were large queues to get in and in total we were only at Pompeii for 1.5hrs. It felt very rushed, no free time. They try and sell you a lunch on the way the vesuvius and if you don't want to pay the 19 euro set lunch price you have to wait one hour at a picnic area whilst the people that agreed ate. On the way home got taken to a shop selling local produce, not what I wanted to waste my time doing and is not detailed on the iterinay. It was almost 500 euros for my family of 5 and I was disappointed in lack of time spent in Pompeii.
