The best alternative to sea side in Italy. It felt like being in a old fashioned movie. The surrounding was spectacular. Water was clear and cold but loved the vibe of the freezing and hot as it was 30 + degrees. We could rent the deck chairs for 2 Euros each for the whole time.

Great place to cool off but parking is non existent, have to be on the ball to get a space somewhere nearby before they fill up. Purchase tickets online before going as limited amount of people per shift. There are now toilets closed by and a small snack bar on site. Access to the water isn't great from all points, easiest way in gets jammed up quickly but worth the visit .

Very surprising beautiful nature.. Must stop if you are on the road close to this place.. Especially during hot days..

Beautiful place to sunbathe and have a cold plunge. From June 7 2025 online booking is compulsory if you want to sit around the water. They will have a limited capacity to keep the area safe. Parking is limited, there are no toilets around the water, there is a bar with warm food around 100m away from the main town. The water is super cold but it was a nice experience.

This is a perfect summer retreat. is never crowded because the entry is regulated. I recommend going booking your spot before arriving. the water is extremely cold. Carry your swimming sunglasses to see the plants under water. Also remember - there is no restaurant nearby so if you are in a mood to eat good, either bring it or consider going out. The bus frequency is good during the summers
