Highly recommended ebike tour! It was great to get out of the city but still see important historical sites. Fascinating, just the right mix of history and nature, exercise and learning. Our guide, Cas was amazing, caring and supportive to our entire group. Always concerned, very communicative and relaxed. So glad he was our guide! Today my wife and I took the private tour up to Castel Gandolfo and Lake Albania with Nima. This was absolutely the most wonderful bike tour we’ve ever experienced. From the check in process, which was smooth and efficient, to getting outfitted (they’d prepared bikes for us based on our heights), to heading out — everything went smoothly. Nima gave us the option of taking the train up to Castel Gandolfo or taking the train back down, or just riding the entire 50km+ distance. We’re relatively fit, so we opted for the full ride and we couldn’t have been happier about it. The Appian Way is super uneven and bumpy, so be prepared for that, but Nima made it fun and always led us through the smoothest possible path. The views were spectacular, Nima was an incredibly informative and fun guide, and the ride was just the right level of tiring versus fun. And the e-bike insured that we never hit a spot too steep for us! 100% recommend for anyone with a spirit of adventure and a reasonable level of fitness!
Had a great tour hosted by our guide, Cas, who was informative, funny and kept us all safe. The bikes were well maintained and easy to ride. The route mixes the streets of Rome with sections of the original Appian Way with open countryside where the remains of the aqueducts run. There’s plenty of breaks to catch your breath, take a photo and learn some things about Ancient Rome. Highly recommended.
This has been by far my favorite tour in Europe! Zak was fun, friendly, had lots of knowledge of the city, and always made sure to watch out for our safety. Whether we were biking thru the countryside or on the city streets, he was cautious with traffic & made us feel very comfortable. I had no idea Rome had so much green space. It was a beautiful ride, with a huge variety of scenery - definitely an adventure! And having the e-bikes made it so much easier to navigate hills. I can’t recommend this enough! See the city from a different perspective!
