Julius the guide was fantastic. He was very informative and factual about the city history and sites. No ear pieces were provided but that was not a problem, he projected his voice loud and clear, just right. Our group of four had a great time, thanks to Julius.
The golf cart tour is fast pace moving along quickly but it's not because they are rushing you, its because they are genuinely excited to show you everything there is to see. They stopped often and let us take photos at different places all over and they also let us go into a few churches. I went with my grandparents and because they have a hard time walking everywhere this was really nice for them. What really won my heart was Peter and his genuine interest, excitement, and knowledge of Rome. His passion and excitement for Rome made me feel excited. We went it August so it's hot any where you go but the air from the cart was helpful with the heat. I also brought a hand fan. (Neck fans don't work good in that heat) If your trying to plan your trip and don't know what to do you should definitely take the golf cart tour. They will show you all the best spots and you will see beautiful views, get beautiful photos, and also get information about each site. I went to the Vatican the day before the golf cart tour and it was so hot and packed shoulder to shoulder. I really wish I skipped the Vatican and just did the golf cart tour. It was so worth it. Thank you guys for making this such a wonderful experience.
My sister & I took this private golf cart tour, our guide was Francesco. It was THE BEST TOUR we took in Rome. Francesco was kind, courteous, super knowledgeable of the area as he grew up here. We had only one full day in Rome and had our tour scheduled for 10 am. Andrea let us know one of his carts had a malfunction, and could we reschedule. Because we had a Vatican tour in the afternoon, he was able to meet us there afterward at 6 pm. There was not a better way to spend our evening in Rome! We are so glad the time was accommodated. Andrea was passionate, articulate, and generous with his deep knowledge. We felt so privileged to see the beauty of the city and learn of its historical importance. Andrea is a wonderful host and guide. We highly recommend his company and tour!
This was a fantastic way to see Rome. The golf cart can go placed that the other larger tour busses can not. The tour was Informative, interactive, and fun. Our guides were on time and picked us up right from our hotel; spoke well, and were a wealth of knowledge. We even went to a couple of hidden gems not frequented by tourists and stopped for some delicious pizza! I highly recommend this tour.
