A spacious green park perfect for grilling or just relaxing in nature. It’s also a great spot for running and exercising thanks to its wide, open paths.
Luka

A very big park with a few interesting ruins to see. There are also some playgrounds and an open gym. I give it 4 stars because the paths could be more tidy and there is a bit too much various trash scattered around.

A Hidden Gem for Runners in Rome I absolutely love running in Parco della Caffarella. It’s full of greenery and has lots of hidden spots to explore. From the higher paths, you can even catch glimpses of the city. It’s perfect for trail training, with a mix of flat and uneven terrain, plus plenty of hills and slopes to challenge your workout. A peaceful and versatile park that’s ideal for both serious runners and nature lovers.

This was an amazing park to visit while in Rome! The nature and scenery was incredible and it was something I was not expecting to see so close to the city. There are some structures scattered throughout the park while walking around and I happened to catch a farmer feeding their sheep’s as well! It’s a great place to just relax outside and get away from the noisy city. There’s plenty of rabbits, birds and other wildlife and benches to sit on.

If you are visiting Rome, this is worth the bus ride. I went three times and felt I had not event scratched the surface. I saw rabbits playing together, many ruins, ripe prickly pears, large grass hoppers and a live jazz band!
