Antonio was our driver for the day. He picked us up in a nice van at our AirBnb in Naples. We did the Amalfi Coast tour; with stops at Sorrento, Positano, and Ravello. It was amazing. He is learning English and we had no problems communicating. We had an hour of free time at the stops and was lenient if you wanted to do something else. He suggested a great restaurant for lunch with an amazing view. I wish we had him for our time in Rome!
My husband and I had the pleasure of going on three private tours with Antonio and his father Rafael during our time in Naples. I would recommend them and their company to anybody who wants to enjoy Naples and everything the area has to offer. Their prices were very reasonable and totally worth it for the private experience they provide. Some touristy areas can get very busy at certain times of day/year and they were great at avoiding crowds with good timing and planning. Below is a summary of what experiences they gave us as we did three different tours with them, coming back each time because of how great of a time we were having with them! All attached photos are from the tours they took us on. The first day we went on the west coast and saw some of the more scenic sides of Naples and Antonio, who used to be a chef, brought us to an amazing restaurant on the water where we had great food! He told us about the history and culture of the area and showed us beautiful scenery. Based on his suggestions we made more stops on our trip later on that were so perfect and fun! We enjoyed our time with him so much we booked two more tours while we were in the area. The second tour we went to the beautiful Amalfi Coast with his father Rafael who is so knowledgeable of the area and provided us with a great tour as well! Then we booked a third tour again with Rafael which wound up being our favorite day of the whole trip. He took us to Pompei, a vineyard with an amazing wine tasting, and to Mount Vesuvius so we could hike to the summit.
If you really want to experience Naples, Pompeii, Positano, Sorrento... the best and only way is definitely to contact the professionals: boss Antonio, father Raffaele, and Osvaldo allias Robert De Niro. :-) They took us around all the sights and the local best cuisine. TOP!!! I give them 6/5 stars
Had an amazing time with Antonio as our driver. He was professional and very kind and pleasant. He pointed out a lot of sites and told us about the history of certain areas. He was easy to find from the cruise ship. His recommendations were helpful as well. Can’t go wrong with Antonio and this company. (And he must have loved our company lol) love from the Canadians
Raffaele (we call him "Raffy") is the MAN to bring you to the best places in the Amalfi Coast. We had great time traveling with him on his nice and comfortable MBenz van, with his best latest Italian music playing as you travel on the road. He is the BEST and safest Napoli driver in the world, traversing the winding and narrow roads along the picturesque coast from Sorrento to Amalfi. He provides you with informative and funny stories of every place that the tour will pass and so interactive with all his tour guests. It was our best tour ever in Italy for all the years we've been visiting this country. Raffy provides you with the best information and must see and visit places in Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and even brought us to Ravello (a nice small hilltop village) on our return back to Naples. We would have never experienced the home-made three-generation La Tramontina Sandwich in Amalfi which was established in 1952 and being run now by the granddaughter. The tour, service and Raffaele is world-class and worth every euro spent. Only Raffaele can do this in the whole of Naples. If it's not the Raffaele tour, then it will not be your best tour.
