Had a layover in Keflavik. So I took a 3hr fishing trip with Jacob on the Johanna. I am familiar with bottom fishing and was happy to see the Captain not afraid to move spots and hunt the fish. We moved 4 or 5 times. That allowed us to catch a couple different species of fish. If you're new to fishing or have experience this trip is worth it. Clean boat, clearly experienced Captain, solid gear to fish with. The catch and cook aspect of this tour was great. Fish was delicious and cooked to perfection. I was traveling out so I was unable to take any fish with me, but it was offered.
Perfect fishing day, the captain and his brother were perfect, fish was easy to take and very good to eat ! And we could take some with us 😁
What does ”sea angling gourmet” means when you are denied to keep your catch? Of ten cods we could keep two because the rest was needed for other purposes. Mean! With high price it became even more expensive after visiting the fish market.
