Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this museum, where our guide Andrew explained the history of the drink, how it was originally produced and how that has changed, and how it became so famous. Loved the different atmospheres throughout the visit, it's comfortable and accessible for all ages. Great tasting moment at the end, this tour is well worth trying, whether you're totally new to the subject or more experienced. Thanks Andrew for your great sense of humour and knowledge!

Our guide Andrew was funny, knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was informative. The fact that the group was quite small made it more enjoyable than the tour in the Jameson Distillery, where you have to deal with big crouds. The shop has a large selection of different whiskeys including small samples which are very convenient to find out which taste you like most. And the prices are much lower than in the stores around Temple Bar. All in all an absolutely recommended place to go when you are interested in the making of whiskey.

We came to the Irish whiskey museum for the standard tour. We came at 12:30pm on a Sunday and it was quiet. I imagine a Friday and Saturday are more popular. However, the tour was great. Gary was our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing. Very theatrical, had a true passion for whiskey, answered every question. He made the experience all that more enjoyable. If you come for a tour you want to have Gary as your guide. It was full of knowledge and personalisation. It was nice to experience the whiskey side of Ireland. Even if you do not like whiskey I would recommend the tour for history and knowledge. Thank you Gary

Visiting the Irish Whiskey Museum was an experience that completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere felt warm, engaging, and full of character. The tour was not only fun but surprisingly educational — we learned about the different eras of Irish whiskey, how it shaped the country’s history, and why it remains such an important part of Irish culture today. Our guide was fantastic: knowledgeable, funny, and full of interesting stories that made the whole experience feel alive rather than just a simple museum visit. The interactive elements, visual displays, and storytelling really helped bring the history of whiskey to life. Of course, one of the highlights was the whiskey tasting at the end. We sampled a selection of Irish whiskeys and discovered how each one differs in flavour, aroma, and style. Even if you’re not a huge whiskey expert, the tasting is accessible, enjoyable, and a great way to try something new. Overall, the Irish Whiskey Museum is a perfect activity whether you’re a tourist or a local looking for something fun to do with friends. We left with laughs, new knowledge, and a deeper appreciation for Irish whiskey. Highly recommend! 🥃🍀

Wow! What a place! Was very impressed and very much recommend to anyone. The group I was with, tour guide was super funny and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Whisky tasting session could have been a bit longer with more time allowed, however very well organised overall.

John our guide made the museum visit’s productive And fun. Saw the highlights of three major museums. We would have been lost looking for the highlights if not for our guide and his explanations helped us understand what we were seeing.
