My husband and I did the Sip and Stroll: Historic Whiskey Walk in Dublin during our honeymoon. Patrick was our guide — he was absolutely wondeful! We learned so much and had a great time. Great stories about the good liquid's long history, delivered in the healthy Irish humor by Haley, our guide, who added value to every minute we spent there. Also the tasting and blending experience brought new angles about whisky in general and the Irish one in particular... So just go there, see for yourselves ! 😊

I can't speak highly enough about the experience my friends and I had sitting for a tasting with Experience Irish Whiskey this past weekend. My wife gifted the tasting to our group as my 40th birthday present. We met with Derek, the company's owner, for the tasting at a snug at the Swan Bar downtown, a historic little spot right outside of Temple Bar. The whiskeys we tasted were very enjoyable - a flight of 6 pours that highlighted the diversity of what Irish whiskey is and should be. Derek's knowledge and passion for Irish whiskey is unparalleled. His personality is what truly separated this tour apart from other more mainstream and commercial offerings out there. He's equally engaging, witty, and informative. The 2 hours spent with him flew by, and the experience was a highlight of the weekend for everyone in our group. 5-stars all the way!
Derek was a fun and knowledgeable guide. Very down to earth walking tour that takes you around a couple neighborhoods and local pubs, to taste and learn about great local Irish whiskey. Highly recommend as an alternative to corporate single brand whiskey tours, learn a bit about local life and how people enjoy the drink and support an awesome local business.
I booked the „historic Dublin whiskey walk“ experience for me and a group of 8 friends. The tour was excellent, we could not have wished for anything better. Derek is not only exceptionally knowledgeable about whiskey, he also knows a lot about the history of the city and the country. The entire communication was very professional and he also gave us a lot of advice on what not to miss in our time in Dublin! We had the best afternoon!! Would definitely recommend and do again!
Fantastic experience with Derek who is an absolute gentleman and expert on all aspects of Irish whiskey. The tasting happened at The Swan Pub which was warm and comfortable. We sampled a top class lineup of whiskies and had interesting discussion and stories. Highly recommended.
