We had a lovely trip with Mac & Jose. Michael from the Irish Working Sheepdogs was fantastic. Jose was great with the amazing parking and Mac had the knowledge, music and the jokes. I'd definitely suggest this trip to others and take people along again.
This was easily the most engaging tour I’ve been on so far - and totally worth getting up early for! Oli is an incredibly passionate guide with a unique style that blends deep historical knowledge, captivating storytelling, and great humour. He shows brilliantly how Ireland’s past still shapes its culture, politics, and landscape today. Oli also has excellent and eclectic taste in music, resulting in probably the most diverse soundtrack to a tour I’ve ever experienced! I wasn’t bored for a single minute during those ten hours. ☺️ Eli, our driver, guided us safely through Wicklow’s highways and winding mountain roads, and we were lucky to enjoy blue skies and sunshine in November! The short hike in autumnal Glendalough (early in the morning with no crowds) was a highlight, and Michael’s fascinating talk and wonderful sheepdog demo added an unforgettable touch. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves history, nature, and a bit of craic along the way! ☘️
This was a fantastic tour and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Oli was an incredible guide giving such in depth information with so much energy. You can feel the passion and it makes the experience so memorable. Eli, our driver was wonderful and courteous. The sheepdog demonstration was so charming and impressive to see. Very glad this stop was included on the tour. Glendalough was breathtaking. It felt like a once in a lifetime experience. Kilkenny was a lovely place to visit. The castle was amazing to tour. We were worried it would feel like a long day but every part was fun, engaging and informative.
