We did a small group wine tasting in the evening with three other couples joining. The host was kind and knowledgeable, and quite talkative, but gave you an opportunity to ask questions and learn more. Paired with local meats, cheeses, and bread it was a pleasant evening.

Great wine tasting experience overall. The host is very welcoming and knowledgeable, the setting is cozy and the wines were great (keep in mind that they change the wines for each tasting). Be sure to ask him to keep Zach Bryan plying on the speakers, made the whole atmosphere much more relaxed and down to earth. The cheeses were very good and all very different, the meats were great as well but kind of tasted the same. The bread and pumpkin-oil was a nice addition, be sure to try that. Having an hour and a half to drink 5 glasses of wine that were by no means empty was on the quicker side though.

We had a fantastic experience at the Tasting Table Cellar in Budapest! The wine tasting was a perfect introduction to Hungarian wines — not only were the five wines we tried absolutely delicious, but we also got to learn so much about the different regions, local grape varieties, and the rich history behind them. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food pairings prepared by the chef elevated the entire experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Budapest — whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just curious to explore something new, it’s definitely worth it!

My girlfriend and I travelled to Budapest for my birthday and we had the most wonderful of times. A significant contributing factor was the excellent tour we arranged with Taste Hungary. Our tour guide, Orsi, was brilliant. Very informative, and friendly and enhanced our experience. The price was reasonable as the food and drink were included. It was great to indulge in local delicacies, explore the fascinating Central Market, and observe the awe-inspiring architecture, whilst walking off all the calories haha! I highly recommend this tour for the perfect taste of the culture and traditional cuisine of Hungary.

I had an amazing experience at this place. Even if I live in Hungary for a while already, It was interesting for me to learn more about Hungarian wines. Also, I liked that the group was small and the whole tasting was in English. room for improvement: to explain how to taste the wines (breath, sips, etc)
