Christos has been my taxi driver for many years during my trips to Greece, to Meteora and Kalambaka. He has also driven me to and from the airports in Preveza and Ioannina, as well as to pleases like Metsovo. I strongly recommend him as a polite and helpful friend who you can truly rely on when arriving in Greece. He speaks fluent English and offers excellent service at a low price! Touring Meteora with Christos was a joy. So worth it. He picked us up at our hotel and took us through some of the most stunning scenery I have ever seen. We felt pampered. He took care to modify the tour to take account of my sore knee, but I was still able to visit all the monasteries we wanted to, as he knew how to accommodate my issue. He also recommended good places to eat. We also got him to drive us to the rail station. By the end of our two days together, I felt we had become friends. I used Christos as my transfer driver from the port of Piraeus to Meteora. Not only was his rate the cheapest compared to other rates, but his response to messages was immediate. He is punctual, reliable and professional with excellent English. As he comes from Meteora, he offered some good tips and suggestion. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Christos. He is the best and if you are looking for an amazing tour guide, he is the guy you have to use!!
We travelled to Meteora by train and used Christos for two days. He picked us up from the station and we visited one monastery the first day. The next day we did the 4 hour tour and he took us back to the station the third day. It was really good to have such reliable transport for our trip. Christos took us to all the viewpoints to get a full coverage of Meteora. As we are in our 70s he worked with us to do as much as we could. It really worked well to have a private tour to go our own pace. We really recommend Christos as a friendly, courteous and professional guide.
