The Gold Coast tours bus was initially having trouble merging on the freeway, which is fine and the larger trucks are being nice and letting them in. And then they decided to cut right in front of a whole bunch of other cars and then including my lane when I barely had space and if I didn't slam on my brakes, they would've ended up hitting the side of my car. They then proceeded to cross the double line into the carpool lane. had I not already previously been paying attention to the big red bus they would've hit me and somehow it probably would've been my fault since I would've been farther back. 3:20pm 10 freeway in pomona
The bus driver thought it was fun to drive under the speed limit in the fast lane. He waved and smiled at all the furious drivers as they were forced to pass him on the right. He thought he was the king of the road. Very funny. Unprofessional and discourteous driver and bus company.
Bus driver is super bad for both of my groups buses. Both drive like crazy and always were super arrogant/over the top. Overall a bad experience.
We are 40 Retirees who took a trip to Paramount Studios. First we had a stop for some food in Century City. Where we had lunch it was rather difficult to find parking for us to get off but our driver found a secure spot just to drop us off. Lunch for 2 hours was pleasant and our driver was right on time to take us to Paramount Studios. Again, he was able to drop us right at the gate. He was prompt when he came back for our trip back home. Our driver, John, was very courteous and conscientious driver. From the planning of our outing to the day of our fun outing, Gold Coast Tours was professional and helpful every step of the way. This was our third outing planned with Gold Coast Tours. We are very happy with them and will continue to use their services. Shawn, office staff, went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful outing. Thank you to Shawn and John.
My family hosted our annual fundraiser to Viejas Casino last month and the casino hired Gold Coast Tours to transport us to and from LA. The bus driver, Donnell, was the worst driver we've ever had. He seemed polite and helpful when we were loading up but after we were all on the bus, he proceeded to give us a speech about us keeping his bus clean etc. The bus itself was very nice but he spoke to us like we were children (most of us are senior citizens). When we got to the casino, we were trying to put some food away in an insulated bag so it would not spoil, but Donnell rushed us off the bus and said he would do it, which he did not do. He was also very mean when someone complained about the bus being too cold and he said that he would turn off the AC and not turn it back on instead of just adjusting the temperature. When we got back to the parking lot where he picked us up, he did not drop us off where he picked us up so that we had to go get our cars and drive over to the bus to load our ice chests and other items. He is a very self-centered rude individual who needs to learn customer service skills.
