The worlds of Inspector Morse, Lewis, and Endeavour came to life during our 90-minute walking tour with Heidi. As a superfan of all three series, she brought tremendous passion to her tour and provided ample history of the town and university. During our visit, the temperatures suddenly plummeted, so we appreciated that she led us to warm public locations for a respite from the bitter cold and wind (Weston Library and Christ Church). We loved the deciphering of the anagrams of certain character names and the personal connections Heidi had with the university, the actors, and the man responsible for the books and TV series--Sir Colin Dexter. We were grateful that the headphones provided ample sound to our ears so that we didn't bother others in our midst. Heidi made our trip to Oxford among the most memorable experiences of our UK trip this autumn!

Did the ‘Inspector Morse, Lewis and Endeavour’ tour with Heidi as our guide. The tour was brilliant and I can say it is the best tour I’ve done. Everything was right with this tour. The provision of headsets meant we could hear every part of the tour, something overlooked quite frequently by a lot of operators. Heidi was excellent in her commentary, a super fan of all 3 series, able to recall a multitude of events linked to each location and as a bonus provided lots of additional Oxford history. Fantastic! We did the Morse, Lewis and Endeavour Tour with Rebecca, who enchanted us with her knowledge of both the television series and the city of Oxford. We didn't really know what to expect so we were delighted with Rebecca's tales, bringing together the three main characters with the places where various events took place. Insights into the writers and the links between the three series were fascinating ways to bring these beloved fictional characters to life.
