Trip to China Oct/Nov 2025 Absolutely fabulous trip, Richard our guide was brilliant, couldn't do enough for everyone, superb help to all of us and extremely courteous, knowledgeable and kind. Hotelsb and all accommodation were excellent.
Just returned from solo trip toVietnam. It was a amazing experience. The hotels were all top class and the food was excellent. Our guide Tuan was an amazingly patient person despite having to handle a rather difficult member of the party. Tuan impressed us all with his countries historical and cultural information. It was a wonderful experience
I recently returned from a Solo Friendly trip to India with the Travel Department (TD) and it was a wonderful experience. Our travel guide, Anurag, is passionate about his country and went out of his way to make our holiday a memorable one. He was very accommodating & friendly, and made each site visit, an exciting trip into history with his descriptive story telling. We experienced the busy cities and the quiet of the countryside, the beautiful sunsets and lovely people of India. The highlight for me, was a visit to the Tag Mahal, no words could describe this beautiful monument when seen for the first time. Anurag arranged a beautiful outdoor evening meal up on a hill overlooking the Taj Mahal. We were listening to the birds singing and watching the golden sunset, it was such a serene and magical experience. I have gone on a lot of the Solo Friendly trips with the TD and this trip to India was one of the best I've been on. If you are thinking of travelling to India and are worried about hygiene or drinking water etc, don't be. The TD provide drinking water during your daily trips and the hotels, which are immaculate, provide plenty of drinking water in your room. There is a good range of foods provided in the hotel restaurants and Anurag arranges for hygienic venues to visit for the lunches. I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of visiting India or any other holiday destination to book that trip with the Travel Department, they've been doing these trips a long time and have it down to a fine art.

Review of Highlights of Montenegro Trip. All pick ups punctual. Our Guide throughout DaDa excellent. Organised,pleasant,funny & shared lots of I formation. Our driver Mischa so pleasant. Both stayed calm when we got stuck on Serpentine hill for an hour due to a crash on the road. Our Guide Isult I think in Albania excellent. Lots of interesting information shared. Managed the large group of 47 really well. The hotel was clean,lots of pools,places to relax. Nice walk along the promenade in both directions- to Budva or Stevie Stephen. Location for public bus very convient. Schedule of tours well paced and most days back by 3pm so still lots of time to relax by the pool. The hotel also had a schedule of activities which you could join and there was a variety of entertainment each evening. So all good
