Join the Paddington Walking Tour and explore the charming London neighbourhood of W2 that inspired the beloved bear from Peru over fifty years ago. This delightful tour invites you to pack a marmalade sandwich, wear comfortable shoes, and bring a duffle coat or rain jacket, as London weather can be unpredictable. Starting at Paddington Station, you will discover the exact spot where Mr and Mrs Brown first meet Paddington and take him home, giving him his famous name. Along the way, the tour covers the local area as well as surrounding neighbourhoods including Paddington Green, Maida Vale, Little Venice, and Notting Hill. You will see a statue of Paddington, visit filming locations, and learn fascinating behind-the-scenes stories about the making of the movies and the creation of the character.
The tour also celebrates other literary and film sites, giving participants a rich cultural and historical experience. For an added challenge, there will be interactive quizzes to test your Paddington knowledge along the way. A short journey on public transport is included to reach Notting Hill, where you will visit the film location for Mr Gruber’s shop on Portobello Road. Each participant must have a valid Oystercard, contactless payment card, or Travelcard for travel in Zones 1-2. This immersive walking tour offers a perfect mix of sightseeing, storytelling, and fun for fans of all ages.

Russell was very knowledgeable and passionate about everything Paddington. Well worth it for the Paddington fan!
Olena

It was a nice walk, along with interesting spots and facts of the movie. Make sure you arrive early to visit the shop if you want to get some souvenirs and take photos. The guide, Chris, was great.
Bradley

The bit inside the station could be shortened and going close to but not seeing Michael Bonds house seemed a wasted journey and time. But the stops at the filming locations especially Little Venice snd Paddington basin was really good.

I had a wonderful time on this tour! I discovered a lovely neighbourhood and learned so many fascinating secrets about our dear Paddington Bear. Owen is an excellent guide – he gives clear and engaging explanations, adds plenty of humour, and takes the time to chat with everyone, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The Pawprint Trail is super cute, short and enough to enjoy! You start off in the Paddington store 😉

Four sculptures by Gillie & Marc arranged as a pair and two singles. The series is called the Paparazzi Pack and are based on the Warhol famous for fifteen minutes quote. A delightful juxtaposition photographing them on my phone. Definitely worth a detour to if you are in the area.

A relaxing garden with pigeons, squirrels, flowers, a ping-pong table, and X O games offers a unique and delightful combination of nature and recreation. This space perfectly balances tranquility with entertainment, making it an inviting retreat for all ages.

I came to this spot to see a Paddington figure that had been there onb a previous visit but as it turned out, I was hounded by a pack of like minded photographers. No sign of the bear but lots of good snaps with my new friends. Another smile from me.

Small park located at Paddington. A relaxing and green space for some after meal walk.
