Wizards London Walk: Discover Harry Potter’s Magical Side of the Capital


Harry Potter fans can explore the wizarding side of London on the Wizards London Walk, a guided journey through filming locations featured across the famous film series. Over the course of a couple of hours, an expert guide leads visitors through more than 10 locations, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and revealing the connections between the magical world and the streets of the British capital.


The walking tour takes visitors to some of the series’ most recognizable locations, including the secret entrance to the Ministry of Magic and the entrances to the Leaky Cauldron. Along the way, guests can discover locations that appeared in memorable scenes, including a bridge destroyed during the dark forces’ attack. The guide also brings the films to life with stories drawn from the books and all eight movies starring Daniel Radcliffe.


Beyond the Harry Potter locations, the route offers views of some of London’s most celebrated landmarks and historic districts. Stops and sights include St Paul’s Cathedral, Millennium Bridge, Tate Modern, Borough and Leadenhall Markets, and Monument. With opportunities to explore locations up close, the walk also provides plenty of chances for fans to take photographs and recreate memorable moments from the films.


The tour is limited to groups of 20 people, creating a more personal experience for fans and allowing the guide to share details along the way. A short London Underground journey is included during the route, so participants will need an Oyster card, contactless payment card, or a valid Zone 1 Travelcard.
