A wonderful gem of a store! It's pretty small but incredibly packed with flavour and variety! The staff are very helpful and know their cheese perfectly! Been to both Sheridans now and been delighted each time!
Visited in June. Not your Monty Python cheese shop - although they do have Wensleydale. Great little cheese shop off Grafton with select farm cheeses from all over Ireland. Prices are fair given the quality (ca 25-30 euro / kg). Attentive and knowledgable staff. They will cut to order for picnic / takeaway.
Dear reader, I love this cheese shop. I still dream about it. I visited on vacation in Dublin and it was an excellent experience! The guy who helped me was friendly and very knowledgeable! I joked about the “cheese monster” line from Always Sunny and he told me he also watches the show. He pointed me to several delicious cheeses and I tasted all of them, 10/10 my taste buds would recommend. I also got some honey and black butter to go with the cheese I bought and I really wish I could zap myself back to Sheridans to get more! I put it all in a little canvas bag I bought there and even though I’m back home I use it for everything, to remind me of the fond memories of that visit.
Do yourself a favor and stop by this cheese shop on your way to your next stop. The Irish cheddar is really good (bought twice), and all we've tried is amazing. You won't regret it a single bit!
Very friendly staff who worked hard to help us find some amazing cheeses. We got a taste of about 10 different cheeses and they didn’t force any purchase on us, though we did buy some amazing Irish cheeses. There are a lot of European cheeses too. Cheese heaven.
