Amazing walking tour with Jonathan!! My friends and I did the canals tour with Jonathan as our guide and we had the best time. Jonathan is super knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic and accommodating. I was on the tour with friends, one of whom is blind and has a guide dog and Jonathan was hugely accommodating and inclusive, adding great detail to his descriptions and bringing along tactile objects to touch along the way. It was a really special experience, thank you so much Jonathan!! 😌😌😌

A fascinating tour, Michael extremely knowledgeable and an excellent tour leader. So much history in Birmingham and it is easy to be unaware. Will definitely book other tours. The book received at the end is very informative. Never knew about The Exchange cafe either and intend to visit!

We went on a walking tour during Heritage week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Jonathan is a wealth of knowledge both historical and about upcoming development in the city, he is also full of fun facts and it was engaging! I’ve lived in Birmingham for 3 years and yet didn’t know much about what is on my door step - 2 hours very well spent!

What a brilliant tour! Jonathan, the organiser as well as our guide on the day, is a very approachable and knowledgeable person who treated us like old friends, with a group photo to boot. We had overseas visitors on our tour, some of whom couldn't speak much English, but Jonathan kept them involved by relating aspects of Birmingham to their home country. Indeed, along with his wit, Jonathan adapts his narrative to the audience to keep them engaged. Although a walking tour, we didn't find it physically taxing at all as most of the attractions are centrally based. We went on a very gentle amble, and with audio headsets, it didn't matter if we lagged a little behind. We learned both historical and geographical facts about Birmingham that have made it a leading city in the world for industrial and cultural innovation, including references to bands that have achieved wide international fame. Whilst having been on many tours around the world, this is the first one where we have been handed a substantial complimentary tour guide (produced by Jonathan) at the end and where prizes have been handed out along the way.

I went on the 'from canals and Victorian's to today's city' tour yesterday and would highly recommend it. Jonathan was an excellent guide, we were told lots of interesting facts and covered quite a lot of ground. Headphones are used, which means that you can easily hear everything that's being said. I'm not familiar with Birmingham and this tour allowed me to see parts of the city that I wouldn't otherwise have seen. The route that we followed was well thought out and passed a good mix of sights. Definitely worth the price!
