Carmel is an amazing person. She is knowledgeable, kind and supportive. I have attended many of Carmel’s courses and I enjoyed each and every one including Reiki, Sound Healing and Light Language. Each course is as magical as the next. Carmel offers in depth information and guidance, as well as tips and tricks that will empower you in your treatments and personal practices. First off, this statement of fact must be said - Carmel is a full blown Legend! From the moment I met Carmel, I knew she was going to be a great teacher, and boy did she blow my expectations out of the water. Wow! I feel so blessed to be one of her students. Allow me to divulge further. Carmel offers an astonishing amount of courses. I first attended the Celtic Ogham Crystal Healing course. There was 1 other girl and myself studying it. At the Tara location, it felt more Magickal. Carmel opened sacred space, worthy of one of the great Bandraoi's (Druidesses) of yore. From that moment, the class was blissful and informative. But my main focus was the Sound Healing courses... I've now completed the Foundation and Level 1 Sound Healing courses. I come away with a joy, awe, wonder, excitement and euphoria each one i go to. I am already counting down the days to my Level 2 course (and Level 3). It is my true belief Carmel is a genius. Her course content, both theory and practical is juicy (like the juiciest steak/tofu you've ever eaten), original, exhilarating and beyond fascinating. The practicals are not only useful, but immediately effective! I knew Sound Healing was potent, but gracious me, I had no idea it was THAT potent! Joining Carmel's class was the best thing I've ever done, as it is the current alignment of my path that will serve me and more importantly, other people for years to come. I'm beyond excited to get finished Level 3, but will, with the same gusto written here, go for Level 4 and 5. And probably more of her vast and extensive list of alluring courses. 11/10! I am so grateful to have found the Celtic School of Sound Healing. When i started looking at sound healing courses, this was one of the first to pop up and i felt instantly drawn to it. Carmel has a deep knowledge of sound through the ages and worldwide traditions and cultures, but in particular a deep love of Irish Celtic shamanism. She has taught me so much! I have completed her sound healing from foundation to Level 4 and will go on to complete my Level 5 gong master training. A true Irish warrior and a gift to all who cross her path and are lucky enough to train under her magical guidance. Grá mór Carmel! x
I recently took part in the Gong Master Training with Carmel at Gandharva Loka in Dublin and it was an outstanding experience. The two-day training was immersive and practical, with a strong focus on technique, confidence building and working closely with a partner to prepare for both 1:1 and group sound healing sessions. We had the chance to work with a variety of supplied gongs from different brands and sizes, which gave a real feel for how different instruments respond. We also explored and played elements of a puja gong session and learned many different types of strokes. I really appreciated the clear guidance on tools, how to care for the gong and what to consider when choosing one. The course materials, including Carmel’s book, were a valuable part of the experience. Carmel is a gifted teacher - knowledgeable, grounded and generous with her support. The training gave me a solid foundation and I’m looking forward to continuing my learning journey with the Celtic School of Sound Healing.
