Went to Paris for the first time at the beginning of August. I was on a tour group with my daughter, so we only stayed in the city for 3 days. Had a good experience, staff was nice, especially Mariane, who made us feel comfortable and made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was good, a lot to choose from. I recommend being there a bit early to miss the rush. But overall, a very good experience and great walking location to Sacré-Cœur basilica and exploring the Montmartre area and attractions.
We stayed only one night at the hotel but it was a pleasant experience. The staff were amazing, a shout out to Wafie and Andrei who were friendly, assisted with an early check-in and were overall so welcoming! The views from the room were stunning, with the Basilica on one side and Eiffel on the other. The location on Montmarte is great, walking distance to many restaurants and sights. The only comment is that the room is a bit dated and lacks certain amenities.
We had a wonderful stay at Mercure hotel! The staff is really friendly, they gave us a complementary breakfast and a beautiful room on the 8th floor. The location is perfect for exploring Montmartre. The rooms were very neat and I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Montmartre to book a stay at this hotel. I will definitely be coming back! Love, Katja
Fabulous 3 day break at this hotel. Breakfast was amazing, so many tasty options. Rooms clean. Birthday cake (surprise) in one room. nb, no milk option for hot drinks in rooms. Front desk support varied though, superb attention from Khaly, big shout out, super helpful, welcoming and answered all our questions thoroughly. We were a group of 5. Other desk staff not so helpful, especially over taxi orders, on our first morning, we asked for a 5 person taxi, one arrived after 5 mins, but he could only take 3, the second taxi took another 30 minutes to arrive which meant part of our group missed the start of our tour and our first group was driven to the wrong place! even though we had given written information to the desk clerk and the driver; we were also charged an extortionate price. 64euros! When we sourced our own taxi, for the return journey back to hotel we were only charged 14 euros. Ended up using Ubers and green light taxis’ just note Ubers can’t use taxi lanes so when traffic was very busy this made journeys much longer, green light taxis can use the taxi lanes and you can see the cost just like London cabs! Paris though was amazing. Would visit again.
In all honesty, I couldn't rate less than 5 stars. We stayed at this hotel on our very first Paris vacation. The service, the staff, the rooms, the location...we loved it. The stay was a quick 3 days, but we never forgot. On our 4th return to Paris, we opted to return here to celebrate my wife's birthday. I reached out asking if they offered anything special- and they did. Our room was decorated with rose pedals, roses, champagne, macaroons and gift jelly/jams. Most of all, our room came with a view of the Eiffle Tower. Breakfast was as good as we remembered and the Customer Service was outstanding. We were recognized and even checked on during Breakfast. We've stayed at other hotels as well as Airbnbs around Paris, but nothing has compared. I am ashamed it took me so long to leave this review- sadly I thought I already had. Thankfully, I finally noticed my mistake. I look forward to another visit and another stay at Hôtel Mercure Paris Montmartre.
