The pace is crowded. The space is restricted so you can see from a distance of 10m approx. As normal person, it just like an another painting but a big tick on my bucket list.

The enormity of the paintings and art work are very impressive you are immediately taken away to another era. The crowds of pwople are large definitely book your ticket a day before as there is so many people. The ques to see The Mona Lisa itself could be better organized on crowded busy days. Perhaps in single file or lanes and brought a little closer to the masterpiece. The security is good and they try their best at crowd control it gets a bit hectic, but it is well worth it in the end. The painting itself is covered behind a big plastic screen which makes it very difficult to get no reflection from your photos. 100s of years later this painting still leaves people in amazement and wonderment. Well done Leonardo Da Vinci you crafty man.

The museum was beautiful, and the paintings were impressive, especially the Mona Lisa. I also liked the cafes and the gift shop inside.

What can be said about the statue that hasn’t already been said. If you visit Paris, the Louvre is an absolutely must visit location and of the many pieces of incredible art, there is the Mona Lisa. Enjoy!

It’s about 3 floors up. It’s well signposted from the entrance just follow the signs. Expect large crowds and obstructed view. It’s a must-see painting for any visit to the Louvre. It’s also unbearably hot in the museum, I wonder how the paintings don’t all melt. Anyhows, enjoy!
