We had a lovely tour at two wineries (Château de Beaupré and Château Paradis). We tasted several delicious wines and the tastings were quite generous (6 at each winery: 2 white, 2 rosé, 2 red). Jehanne was a fabulous host and we really enjoyed our time with her!! We highly recommend this small group tour (8 people) for a chance to see the beautiful countryside, drink wine, and meet other travelers.
We had a wonderful time on the wine tasting tour! Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about wine. We learned so many interesting things — both about wine in general and about the specific characteristics of the wines from this region around Aix-en-Provence. The rosé wines, which are so typical here, were especially delightful to taste and compare. The whole experience was relaxed, informative, and full of great flavors. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
First have to say what a great guide Camille was. Such a lovely, warm, friendly girl, her English was impeccable as was her knowledge of the area, its people, history, traditions and local interests, restaurants etc. In fact the other couple on the trip who were from New Zealand said that the trip was excellent but it was the company which made it so special. The day itself was an excellent balance of sight seeing, boat trip, visiting places of particular interest and wine tasting. Would thoroughly recommend.
Camille was very organised and shared a lot of of her knowledge about the history and her passion for the local area on our trip to Cassis. She was patient and easy to understand and made our day a lot of fun much more than it would’ve been had we tried to do the trip on our own. Her recommendations for where to eat was fantastic and the Gelato at casalini Was just perfect for a hot day. The places that we visited were really interesting, but Camille was the perfect guide. We had a fantastic tour with Julian from Aix-en-Provence to Cassis! He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. The boat ride to see the Calanques was absolutely stunning — a definite highlight. Julian also gave us an excellent lunch recommendation that did not disappoint. We went to a breathtaking scenic viewpoint and a charming winery to cap off the day. Highly recommend this tour and Julian as a guide!
